Some of our most prominent Senators want the US to become more involved in Libya....FUCK!
THE ARTICLE in question.
Senators John McCain and Joseph Lieberman are advocating for the United States to become more involved in Libya. They are suggesting that we enforce a no-fly zone and provide weapons and recognition to the insurgents.
Is there a glitch in the matrix? Anyone else getting a sense of Deja vu? We are stretched to the fucking limit and now we have our elected officials thinking it's a brilliant idea to get involved in ANOTHER country's internal conflict. We don't have the money, man power, military resources or the will to get involved in another conflict.
Leave us out of it. NO MORE!!!!
Any thoughts? Anything that I'm not seeing here?

Agreed, perhaps we should be concentrating on our own affairs first. Corporate corruption, bank bailouts, inflation, unemployment, skyrocketing healthcare, education... just to name a few. I support the people of Lybia and their quest for freedom but I also believe you cannot have freedom without responsibility. I say it's their own responsibility to earn it. It won't mean much to them if we earn their freedom for them. Let's show our moral support but we don't need to spill our own blood for their problems. By the way, nice blog man!
ReplyDeleteWe are headed down the path of no return. We have
ReplyDeleteTo fix so many problems so fast I'm not sure its possible.
We have so many social issues such as welfare and ssi.
These two are the biggest and if we do whats needed ssi will Have to be eliminated and welfare put on a 1 year max, with drug testing. They need to be a hand up program not a hand out. Things just have to change. As far as our military. They need to be the best in the world. They need to have the best equipment and weapons possible. We need to be prepared for anything with first response readiness. The government needs to get back to their job. Protection, basic services and giving. It's citizens the best environment to go in.
